Ballinascorney Golf Club is a 9-hole course located in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains in Rathfarnham, County Dublin. Founded in 1971, the club relocated to its current home on Kilmashogue Lane in 2002. A significant redevelopment in 2011 added new greens, tee-boxes, and two par-5 holes, enhancing the playing experience.
The course offers a pleasant challenge suitable for golfers of all abilities, with scenic mountain views and varied terrain characteristic of the Dublin foothills setting. The layout accommodates diverse skill levels while maintaining interesting playability throughout the round.
The club maintains an active social calendar, featuring Thursday night mixed competitions from April to September, Monday mixed competitions, and open mixed timesheets on weekends with separate competitions for men and women. The club was recognized for gender equality initiatives, becoming one of only two clubs nationally to fully implement Golf Ireland's One Club Model in 2022. In 2024, Ballinascorney received gold certification under the Women in Golf Charter, placing it among eighty clubs nationally achieving this recognition.
A fully licensed bar serves the clubhouse, and visitors and societies are welcome throughout the year.
