Marengo Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole course located in Marengo, Illinois, situated between U.S. Route 20 and Harmony Hill Road. The course was conceived in 1963 when Harry Witek and partners engaged architect William James Spear to design the original nine holes cut through wooded hills. The back nine was added in 1990 after farmland acquisition, with construction beginning in 1988.

The course's distinctive character stems from the 25-year gap between construction phases and differing topography. The original nine holes wind through established trees, while the newer nine incorporates modern construction techniques on former farmland, creating a challenging and picturesque layout. This contrast in design philosophy and terrain creates a unique golf experience.

The facility was originally centered around a renovated cow barn serving as clubhouse, pro shop, and restaurant. A new clubhouse was constructed in 1993 to better serve the full 18-hole course. The club remains family-owned and operated by Bob and Janet Witek, with Bob being part of the original ownership group. The course hosts various tournaments and events including the Marengo Ridge Club Championship, Match Play Tournament, and Club Shootout.
