Crystal Woods Golf Club is a public golf facility located in Woodstock, Illinois, comprising 27 holes across two courses. The main Crystal Woods course features 18 holes with a par of 72, while the companion Craig Woods course offers 9 holes at par 37. Originally designed by Bill Langford in the early 1950s as Bit O' Heather Golf Club with just 9 holes, the facility was expanded and reimagined in 1967 by Charles Wagstaff under the ownership of Richard and Mary Ann Craig. The expanded 18-hole course officially reopened in summer 1969. Family-owned and operated since 1967, Crystal Woods operates as a semi-private/daily fee venue in McHenry County. The club welcomes public play and offers amenities including a driving range, professional instruction from PGA staff, and hosts numerous golf leagues and outings. Season passes are available for frequent players of all skill levels.
