Located in Moba, Chiba, Mana Country is a golf facility comprising two distinct courses: the 27-hole Manna Course and the 18-hole Manna Gary Player Course. The Manna Course, which opened on November 14, 1976, was designed by Kazusuke Izumi and Michio Izumi. It is divided into three nine-hole loops known as the Kobushi, Tsutsuji, and Kusunoki courses. The layout is characterized by a flat, orthodox design featuring a mix of Bentgrass and Korail greens. The Kobushi loop is noted for its magnolia trees, the Tsutsuji loop for its azaleas, and the Kusunoki loop for its harmony between forest and lake. The Manna Gary Player Course is an 18-hole layout designed by Gary Player, who is credited as the sole designer of a course bearing his name in Japan. This course features wide Bentgrass greens and fairways with excellent drainage that allow for cart access regardless of the season. The terrain includes downhill middle holes with views of the Boso Peninsula and short holes where red sand runs along both sides. The course offers five sets of tees, ranging from the Black tees at 6,826 yards to the Pink tees at 4,919 yards. Difficulty and yardage vary significantly across the facility. The Manna Course loops range from approximately 6,072 to 6,335 yards from the back tees, with course ratings between 68.6 and 72.4. The Gary Player Course presents a longer test, with the Black tees stretching to 6,826 yards and a course rating of 73.2. Specific holes are highlighted for their characteristics; for instance, the 7th hole on the Gary Player Course is a 626-yard par 5 from the Black tees, while the 3rd hole is a demanding 166-yard par 3. The facility also includes a driving range and is part of the larger Resol no Mori resort complex.
