Founded in 1962, Malindi Golf & Country Club features a 9-hole course with additional greens and tees creating the sensation of a full 18-hole layout. Located in Malindi, Kenya, the course is built alongside coastal dunes and winds through forest and wetland areas, offering scenic views including vistas out to sea from elevated positions.

The course presents moderate to challenging difficulty with a distinctive character shaped by its natural environment. Notable features include water hazards from seasonal lakes and a brook that come into play on several holes, particularly holes 5 and 8. The course is framed by native vegetation including Baobab, Neem, Eucalyptus, and Flamboyant trees. Signature elements include the 12th hole, a 510-yard par 5 from elevated dune terrain with ocean views, and multiple par 3s that the club maintains as a design tradition with six spread across the layout.

The club has invested substantially in irrigation infrastructure since 2009, with all greens and tees now regularly watered. The course hosts stroke play championships including the Dado Cup competition. Malindi is affiliated with the Kenya Golf Union and Kenya Ladies Golf Union, welcoming both members and visitors year-round, though play may be restricted on certain weekday afternoons during member competitions.
