Maidstone Golf Club is one of the oldest clubs in KwaZulu-Natal, founded in 1891. Located in Tongaat, it offers a picturesque 9-hole course surrounded by sugarcane fields. The club features a 9-hole course with 2 tee boxes and immaculate fairways. The course is challenging for both seasoned golfers and part-timers alike, catering for all levels of golfer.

Formerly part of the Tongaat-Hulett recreational facilities for staff, Maidstone Golf Club has an established course with a brand new club house and event venue. The private parklands course is situated approximately 40 minutes' drive from Durban and close to Ballito. The colonial style clubhouse and greens are enhanced by an inviting bar and restaurant, and a halfway house. Maidstone is open all year round and hosts a number of competitions during the week.
