Litchfield Country Club is a semi-private golf course located in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, and was the area's first course when it opened in the 1960s. Designed by Willard Byrd, the course features a classic Lowcountry layout that plays through soaring live oak trees draped in Spanish moss, creating a picturesque setting characteristic of the region's landscape.

The course emphasizes strategic, intelligent golf with an assortment of doglegs that reward accurate tee shots and fairway play. The greens, while not exceptionally large, feature open fronts that encourage creative approach shots. This design philosophy rewards golfers who prioritize hitting fairways and tactical course management over raw distance.

Litchfield maintains a commitment to outstanding course conditions and customer service. The facility is known for its well-maintained fairways, tight greens in excellent condition, and old Southern charm. The course offers enough challenges to test golfers while providing accessible holes to build confidence. In addition to golf, the property serves as a wedding and private event venue, capable of hosting up to 150 guests with amenities including a chandeliered ballroom and flexible event spaces.
