LinRick Golf Course, designed by Russell F. Breedon, opened in 1972. The course spans 257 acres of picturesque terrain with eight ponds and rolling hills, measuring 6,795 yards with a par of 73 across 18 holes. The Breeden design features lots of water, wooded terrain, doglegs, plenty of challenge, picturesque holes and midsize greens. The course rating is 72.8 with a slope rating of 125.

At 6,795 yards and par-73, the rolling terrain and eight ponds offer challenges for all players, with several blind shots at the water-protected par-4 third hole, the roller-coaster par-5 14th and the all-uphill par-3 17th. The signature par-5 16th hole is notable among the course's features. As the Columbia area's lone municipal (Richland County) course, LinRick has remained relatively unchanged since 1972 and has been a favorite among Midlands golfers for economical public play.
