Cobblestone Park Golf Club is a 27-hole championship golf course located in Blythewood, South Carolina. Designed by renowned architect P.B. Dye, the course offers challenging play and scenic beauty. The 27 holes are divided into three distinct nines and stretch across more than 240 acres of rolling hills. There is plenty of elevation change throughout the course, including some of the highest points in the county, and it features prominent mounding and unique bunker shapes reminiscent of P.B. Dye's father's designs.
The par 3s can play tough at Cobblestone Park, with many having forced carries over water and natural areas. The signature hole is a 454-yard par 4 where the tee shot yields a 60-foot elevation change down to the landing area, which doglegs right, then back up the hill to the green. Strategically placed bunkers frame the greens and towering oaks and pines loom above the fairways.
Cobblestone Park serves as the home course for the University of South Carolina men's and women's golf teams and provides them with some of the finest playing and practice facilities in the country. The course opened in 1995 and is open to the public with membership and daily fee options available.
