Links On the Bayou

Links on the Bayou is an 18-hole championship golf course located in Alexandria, Louisiana, designed by Mike Young in an American Links style. The course features five distinct tee boxes accommodating players from professional to beginner levels, making it accessible to golfers of all skill levels. The challenging layout is ideally suited for both cart play and easy walking.

The facility includes a full practice complex with a driving range, putting green, chipping green, and a short-game practice area with multiple greens and bunkers. Links on the Bayou is known for its excellent year-round course conditioning, with smooth and fast greens. The course hosts multiple tournaments annually, including its City Championship and various state, regional, and professional tour qualifiers.

In August 2009, Golf Digest rated Links on the Bayou as Louisiana's #1 Municipal Golf Course, recognizing it as the best municipal course in the state. The American Links-style design provides a unique golf experience characteristic of traditional links courses while set in the heart of Louisiana's landscape.
