Charleston Pines is an 18-hole championship golf course built in 1962 by architect John S. Checho Sr. Located south of Rochester, New York, the course measures 6,952 yards from the Black Tees with a USGA course rating of 73.1 and slope rating of 124, presenting a challenging layout for skilled golfers. The course features five sets of tees to accommodate players of varying abilities.
The course winds through natural pine forests characteristic of Western New York's landscape, creating a scenic and demanding playing experience. Its design takes advantage of the region's natural terrain and vegetation. Charleston Pines is part of Lima Golf & Country Club, a 36-hole semi-public facility surrounded by the Bristol Mountains. The course has received recognition from Golf Rochester for maintaining excellent conditions and is a preferred venue for tournaments and leagues throughout the Finger Lakes and Rochester area. The facility includes a practice green, chipping green, and driving range for player preparation.
