Nestled in the scenic rolling hills of Mendon, just south of Rochester, NY, Mendon Golf Club is a premier private golf course. The 6,645-yard, par-71 championship layout features a classic design that integrates seamlessly into the natural landscape. The course was developed over two phases: the original nine holes, designed by Peter Craig, opened on July 30, 1961, with professional golfer Gary Player playing the inaugural round. The back nine were added in 1967, designed by Joe DeMino. Four sets of tees accommodate players of all skill levels across the rolling terrain. The club has established itself as one of Rochester's top private courses, known for excellent playing conditions and has hosted multiple US Open Qualifiers and tournaments for junior and adult golfers. Founded in 1961 on a former Mendon farm selected for its ideal terrain and soil composition, Mendon Golf Club has earned recognition for its well-maintained course and welcoming environment. The facility also includes two state-of-the-art TrackMan simulator bays for members' exclusive use.
