Álftanessvöllur is a nine-hole, par-32 golf course located in Garðabær, Iceland, operated by Golfklúbbur Álftaness. The club was established in May 2002, initially operating as a shorter nine-hole, par-3 course before expanding to its current configuration. The course is situated at Þórukot and offers two sets of tees that adjust the total yardage; the red tees measure 3,200 meters, while the yellow tees extend the layout to approximately 3,300 meters. The layout is designed to accommodate a range of skill levels, though it presents specific challenges for different handicaps. While the shorter distance makes it well-suited for higher-handicap golfers, the course hides its difficulty and proves demanding for lower-handicap players. The facility also includes a full TrackMan simulator, providing an additional option for practice and warm-ups before playing the outdoor holes. Golfklúbbur Álftaness hosts a variety of tournaments suitable for all golfers, encouraging participation from the local community. The club maintains reciprocal agreements with several other golf clubs across Iceland, offering members discounted rates at venues such as Golfklúbbur Siglufjarðar, Golfklúbburinn Jökull in Ólafsvík, and Golfklúbbur Grindavíkur.
