The 18-hole Lewistown course features 6,779 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Designed by Donald J. Ross, ASGCA/Ault, Clark & Associates, the Lewistown golf course opened in 1947. Lewistown Country Club opened at its current location in 1947 as a nine-hole facility designed by world renowned architect Donald Ross. An additional nine holes were completed in 1974 making the course 18 holes. The course rating is 72.3 and it has a slope rating of 125 on Bent grass.

Nestled away in the rural outskirts of Lewistown, located along Route 22/522 in Mifflin County, Lewistown Country Club is 30 miles from State College, home of Penn State, and 60 miles from Harrisburg. The course features fair conditions with some wide fairways and true greens, some skinny fairways, a long course with most Par 4s around 400 yards. There are some holes with nice mountain views and scenic holes like 11 and 12. Lewistown Country Club Golf Club has an onsite driving range with 6 practice tees.
