Comunitat Valenciana
Spain
The course features 18 challenging holes designed on natural wadis, with design by renowned Spanish golf course architect Pepe Gancedo. Opened in 1990, Las Ramblas was the second golf resort developed by QUARA Group. Located on the Costa Blanca near Orihuela in the Valencian Community, the course is situated in an area of natural beauty with spectacular views over the Mediterranean, featuring hilly terrain with brooks and streams, lush greenery and surrounding pine forests.
The course is very challenging with 18 holes, well integrated in an accidented valley with cliffs and blind holes. The design is highly varied, requiring all 14 clubs, with fast greens maintained in impeccable condition. Pine trees add character to the course and present a challenging round of golf, as their constant presence can make things difficult when attention lapses.
The course has hosted several regional competitions. The wide, fast greens feature gentle slopes, contributing to the course's demanding character that requires strategic play and precision from all ability levels.
