The 18-hole Lakeview course features 6,455 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The Lakeview golf course opened in 1960. The course rating is 69.6 and it has a slope rating of 116. Located in Piedmont, South Carolina, the course is open to the public and is a family-owned and operated facility.

The course has rolling terrain, tree-lined fairways, and large greens, many of which are unprotected by sand bunkers. The course is fairly easy, but there are a couple interesting holes that require some creativity. Technical difficulty is moderate. It is one of the easier courses to walk in the Greenville area. The course offers well-maintained conditions and provides practice facilities including a driving range, practice tees, putting green, and chipping area. The facility has a practice range, pro shop and lessons available.
