Lake Park Golf Club's Championship Course was designed by Jeff Brauer and Lanny Wadkins. The course is an 18-hole, par 70 layout that plays 6,135 yards from the back tees, with a course rating of 68.3 and slope of 108. Located below the Lake Lewisville dam, it was originally known as Oak Ridge Park. Mature trees frame gently rolling, forgiving Bermuda fairways and generous greens, with multiple tees on each hole enabling golfers of all ages and abilities.

The course is fairly flat with fairways framed by mounding, has just a handful of bunkers, water on eight holes, and wind serves as the course's biggest defense. Notable holes include the opening hole which goes 465 yards with water in play off the tee, and hole 8, which offers a risk-reward situation with two small ponds protecting the green 312 yards away.

The course has been named by Golf Digest among the "Best Places You Can Play" due to its immaculate conditioning and playability. The facility is complemented by an expansive golf practice facility featuring an all-grass driving range and short game area on the shores of Lake Lewisville.
