Lake Kununurra Golf Club was established in 1965 and developed in stages to its current configuration of 18 holes. The course measures 6035 meters at par 72, with a course rating of 69. It features natural grass and sand greens in good condition. Located on the shores of Lake Kununurra in the East Kimberley region of Western Australia, the course offers scenic views of the lake and surrounding tropical landscape.

The back nine presents considerable challenges, with water in play on seven holes, providing strategic difficulty for golfers of varying skill levels. The course layout incorporates wide fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and undulating greens.
