Kyles of Bute Golf Club

Kyles of Bute Golf Club is a nine-hole course set on a hillside above Kames in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The course offers panoramic views across the water to the Island of Bute, with additional vistas extending across Loch Fyne to the Mull of Kintyre and south toward the Ayrshire coast past Arran.

The nine holes are described as intriguing and varied in design, each presenting distinct challenges requiring thoughtful club and shot selection. Rather than traditional bunkers or traps, the course features burns, patches of heather and gorse, and blind shots on two holes to maintain difficulty and interest. The layout demands strategic play throughout the round.
