Knollwood Fairways is a 9-hole regulation length golf course located in Southern Pines, North Carolina, in Moore County. Designed by C.A. Pitts and opened in 1964, the course plays approximately 2,517 yards from the back tees with a par of 35 and a slope of 118. The layout features three sets of teeboxes and emphasizes shot-making precision over distance, with tree-lined fairways requiring accurate driving. The shortest hole is the par-3 first hole at 117 yards, while the longest is the par-5 seventh hole at 510 yards, which also serves as the number-one handicap hole.

The course operates as a semi-private facility and is walkable, though carts are available. Notable features include several par-3 holes throughout the nine-hole layout and challenging greens, such as the distinctive "turtle-back" green on hole 6. Knollwood Fairways was recognized as PING Golf's National Club Fitter of the Year in 2010 and operates as part of a combined golf facility that includes a driving range and practice facility. The course is designed to be approachable for golfers of various skill levels, including seniors, ladies, and juniors.
