Klosterfjordens Golfklubb, established in 1997, opened its golf course in July 2001 with 9 greens and 18 tees, inaugurated by Sven Tumba. Located at Kungsgården 4 in Åskloster, the course features a seaside character situated at the mouth of the Viska River where it meets the sea.

The layout comprises 9 holes with 18 tees, offering a links-style course where most holes are played on links-type terrain. The proximity to the sea significantly influences play, with wind being a frequent factor affecting gameplay. The course presents notable hazards including water obstacles such as streams and marl pits, along with stone walls in play on nearly all holes.

The facility includes a driving range with 10 covered and 8 uncovered positions, available 24 hours with card payment for balls. A substantial practice area provides pitch zones, bunkers, a chipping green, and a large putting green. The course is characterized by moderate to challenging difficulty due to natural hazards and wind conditions typical of coastal links courses. The club offers lessons and group training with professional instructors, and maintains a café serving weekday lunches.
