Designed by renowned architect Torii Nakamura and opened in August 1959, the course is split into two distinct nine-hole loops: the Kinu Course and the Daiya Course. The property spans 858,000 square meters, offering a layout that plays from 6,574 yards from the back tees with a course rating of 71.6. The terrain is characterized by a relatively flat, forest-style layout with minimal elevation changes. The Kinu Course features greens that slope generally from front to back, while the Daiya Course incorporates lateral water hazards, most notably on the eighth hole, which demands precision. The course is designed to accommodate a variety of playing styles, with specific holes recommended for distance and accuracy challenges. Signature holes include the par-5 eighth on the Kinu Course, which is the longest hole on that loop, and the par-5 ninth on the Daiya Course, identified as the most demanding for distance.
