The King and Prince Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 72 championship course located on St. Simons Island in Georgia's Golden Isles. Designed by "Gentleman" John Lee and restored by architect Billy Fuller, the course stretches 6,462 yards and winds through a dramatic coastal landscape of ancient Spanish moss-draped live oaks, salt marshes, and scenic island greens connected by elevated cart bridges.
The course features tree-lined fairways with natural hazards including water features and marsh challenges that demand strategic shot-making from players of all skill levels. Notable characteristics include rolling greens, bunkers recently reshaped with fresh sand, and a signature lake at the 9th hole. The back nine offers particularly distinctive views across the Golden Isles terrain. MiniVerde ultra-dwarf Bermuda grass greens and Celebration Bermuda fairways are meticulously maintained.
The facility includes comprehensive practice amenities: a 15,000-square-foot driving range with seven target greens, a 3,500-square-foot chipping green, and a practice putting green. The course balances challenge with playability, appealing to both experienced and casual golfers. It remains an award-winning destination and a premier golf experience within the St. Simons Island resort community.
