Keney Park Golf Course is a public golf course located in Hartford, Connecticut, designed by renowned golf architect Devereux Emmet. The original nine holes were constructed in 1927, with Emmet being a pioneering American course designer who created over 150 courses throughout his career. Locally, Emmet also designed the Hartford Golf Club and Country Club of Farmington, along with notable courses such as Congressional Country Club in Maryland and Riddell's Bay Golf and Country Club in Bermuda.
The course features a grass tee driving range and extensive practice facilities, including a large bunkered green for short-game practice and an additional putting green adjacent to the first tee. Keney Park is recognized as Connecticut's number one public golf course. The facility offers league play opportunities Monday through Thursday afternoons and operates with a modern fleet of GPS-equipped Club Car golf carts. The course maintains competitive rates and provides various membership options including season passes for regular players.
