Kendleshire Golf Club

Kendleshire Golf Club, located in Coalpit Heath near Bristol, features two courses opened at different times. The original 18-hole course, designed by Adrian Stiff and opened in May 1997, is built around the scenic Frome Valley landscape. A second 9-hole course designed by Peter McEvoy was added in 2001, expanding the facility's offerings. The courses are noted for their well-maintained greens and consistent playing conditions across all holes. The club welcomes both members and non-members to play, with access to practice facilities described as among the best in the area. The facility opened as a modern, welcoming golf venue that broke from traditional industry conventions, emphasizing accessibility and inclusivity from its inception. The clubhouse, completed in 1998, serves as the central hub and hosts various events alongside golf operations. The setting within the Frome Valley provides a natural, scenic environment for play.
