Kanoyama Golf Club is a 27-hole facility located in Kimitsu, Chiba Prefecture, featuring three distinct courses: Shiratori, Tenjin, and Sengen. The course opened in 1960 and offers varied landscape experiences across its layout.
The Shiratori Course is a bay-view course with moderate elevation changes, featuring a dramatic 5-hole middle hole with a 60-meter drop that provides commanding downhill shots. The Tenjin Course overlooks the Boso Mountain Range and Ninety-Nine Valley within the South Boso Quasi-National Park, presenting relatively flat terrain with subtle undulations. The Sengen Course is set within Kanoyama's forest, characterized by wide fairways and middle and short holes incorporating water hazards.
The facility operates on a self-play basis with GPS-equipped golf carts and maintains practice facilities including a 160-yard range, putting green, approach area, and bunker practice zone. The club accommodates tournaments and competitions with multiple meeting rooms and a restaurant seating 23 tables.
