Öjestrand GC

Öjestrand GC is an 18-hole championship course located in Njurunda, Sweden, beautifully positioned alongside Lake Öjen. Designed by Tommy Nordström and completed in 1992, the course features a rolling, forested layout that showcases the natural landscape.

The course offers five tee positions ranging from 4,008 to 6,007 meters, accommodating golfers of varying abilities. The design includes narrow, contoured fairways and undulating greens averaging approximately 600 square meters each. The course incorporates 28 bunkers, including 19 greenside bunkers, and water hazards feature on thirteen holes, presenting strategic challenges throughout the round.

Notable characteristics include the scenic woodland setting and elevation changes that define the playing experience. The course maintains high standards with well-maintained greens and fairways, complemented by modern facilities including a restaurant, accommodation cottages, and a driving range. Öjestrand GC also operates a 9-hole course and recently added golf simulation facilities, making it a comprehensive golf destination in the region.
