Humber Valley Golf Course is Toronto's oldest golf course, located on the banks of the Humber River in Rexdale and dating back over 100 years. The 18-hole par 70 course measures 5,446 yards. Two signature holes, numbers 14 and 15, were designed by renowned Canadian golf course architect Stanley Thompson. The course underwent significant renovation in 1992, which included construction of new tees and greens, fairway realignments, and installation of an automated irrigation system. Originally a semi-private facility on the west bank of the Humber River, it became Metro Toronto's second public golf course in 1958 following acquisition of 40.9 hectares from Summerlea Golf Club. The course is situated along the scenic Humber River landscape, offering a historic playing experience with a mix of challenging and accessible holes suitable for various skill levels.
