Hisayama Country Club, established in 1964, is one of Fukuoka Prefecture's historic golf courses. The course was designed and supervised by three notable professional golfers: Nakamura Torakichi, Fujii Taketo, and Fujii Yoshimasa, each of whom made significant contributions to Japanese professional golf. The club has hosted several prestigious tournaments, including the 21st Japan Professional Golf East-West Match Play Championship in 1970, the Japan Women's Professional Golf Championship in 1974 (where Hideko Higuchi achieved her seventh consecutive victory), and the Asahi Ryokken Cup TVQ Senior Open Golf from 2008 to 2019. Located in Hisayama Town, Kasuga District, Fukuoka Prefecture, the facility also includes tennis courts alongside the golf course. The club's long history and association with prominent professional golfers reflects its standing as an established venue in the Kyushu golfing community.
