Hillcrest Golf Course

Hillcrest Golf Course is a 9-hole municipal golf course located in Owensboro, Kentucky on Old Hartford Road. Originally constructed on the Whitley Deer Farm by the Owensboro Jaycees in the late 1930s, the course has been owned and operated by the City of Owensboro since 1969. The course is open year-round and features bermuda fairways and tees complemented by bent grass greens, which are maintained in excellent condition. Amenities include a pro shop, practice green, and chipping green. The course serves the local community with various programs including youth golf instruction, junior golf camps, and organized leagues and scrambles. Additionally, Hillcrest offers FootGolf as an alternative recreational option. The course operates during winter months with adjusted hours, closing only when temperatures are forecasted to remain below 40 degrees.
