Ben Hawes Golf Course is an 18-hole championship course located in Owensboro, Kentucky, part of Ben Hawes Park acquired by the city in 1962 and opened in 1964. The course stretches 6,632 yards from the longest tees with a par of 71 (par 72 for ladies). The layout features contrasting terrain, with the front nine built on hilly ground and the back nine on flat terrain, providing variety throughout the round.

The signature hole is #2, a challenging 444-yard par 4 that demands a long tee shot up a fairway bordered by out-of-bounds stakes on the left and large oak trees on the right, with a ditch hazard approximately 200 yards from the tee box. The course is designed to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. In addition to the regulation 18-hole course, Ben Hawes offers a nine-hole par 3 course, providing options for different playing preferences and experience levels.
