Hidden Hills is an 18-hole golf course that measures 6,463 yards with a par of 71 and was designed by Ray Hardy, opening in 1990. Located just east of Amarillo, the course is three-star rated by Golf Digest and offers over 100 feet of slope, deep valleys, extreme elevation changes, and a creek that winds through its back nine. The course features bent grass greens and blue grass fairways and tees, with the blue tees measuring 6,500 yards, white 6,000, gold 5,400, and red 4,900.
The layout is set in two deep valleys with very few level lies, water comes into play on seven holes, and from the back tees, most par 4s are under 400 yards. Two of the three par 5s are under 500 yards and present good birdie opportunities. The most difficult hole is No. 9, a 420-yard par 4 dogleg left.
The course was designed and built by Ray Hardy through a partnership of private donations and volunteers, Gray County, and the City of Pampa. The 18-hole layout is owned by the City of Pampa.
