The 18-hole course at Clarendon Country Club in Howardwick features 6,745 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course opened in 1971. It can be challenging from the back tees but very manageable for the average golfer from the middle tees (6,285 yards). Locals brag that the greens are some of the best around.

The view over the lake here is quite scenic considering the remote, barren locale. The signature hole is No. 9, a 448-yard par 4 requiring a straight, downhill tee shot directly into the wind, leaving the golfer with a long iron or possibly even a fairway wood to the green. The course is set up as a fair test of golf for every skill level. The facility has an onsite driving range with 5 practice tees.
