Herons' Reach Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 parkland course measuring approximately 6,200 yards, located at East Park Drive, Blackpool, Lancashire, within a 236-acre estate just three miles from Blackpool town centre. The course was designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark and, despite its parkland and lakes setting, carries a notably open, near-links character.

Ten small lakes and extensive grass-fronted bunkering are distributed throughout the layout, creating consistent strategic demands across the round. Fairways are generally tight, leading to USGA-specification greens with subtle undulation. The terrain is gently rolling rather than dramatically contoured, making the course accessible on foot. The Blackpool Tower is visible from several points around the course, with the clearest sightline from the 14th hole. The par-3 16th is the most frequently cited individual hole, playing from an elevated tee over water to a narrow, well-protected green. Several holes feature pronounced doglegs, including one sharp 90-degree turn from an elevated tee. The course rating is 73.1 with a slope of 137 from the back tees, indicating a meaningful test relative to its length.

The course has hosted numerous PGA North Region Championship events over the years. The resort includes hotel accommodation, a driving range, and extensive leisure facilities.
