Hazlehead Pines Golf Course is situated within Hazlehead Park in Aberdeen, running alongside the Hazlehead 9-hole and Mackenzie Championship courses. Revamped in the early 1970s by Brian Huggett, Neil Coles, and Roger Dyer, the Pines measures 5,735 yards with a par of 67, offering a gentler challenge than the neighbouring MacKenzie Championship Course.

The course features a more open, forgiving layout compared to other courses in Golf Aberdeen's portfolio. It comprises six par 3s and one par 5, with generous fairways and large greens, though numerous strategically placed bunkers provide challenge. Most fairways are tree-lined, creating an attractive setting.

Described as a "fair test of golf," Hazlehead Pines offers pleasant views of Aberdeen city from the 17th green. The course is located at Hazlehead Avenue, Hazlehead Park, within the broader Hazlehead venue that encompasses multiple courses. Its accessibility and forgiving design make it an inviting option for golfers of varying abilities seeking a less demanding round than the championship course.
