Hancock Golf & County Club ☆ Follow

Hancock Golf & Country Club is a 9-hole course with a par of 36 and total length of 3,306 yards. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., the course was built in 1947 and features bent grass greens and Bermuda grass fairways. The course has a fun layout and several very fun old RTJ Sr greens. Holes #3 and #5 are noted as the best in the Catskills.

The course is located at 522 Golf Course Road in Hancock, New York in Delaware County. The course offers terrific views and challenging play for golfers at every skill level. With a rating of 35.75 and slope of 113, the course presents a moderate challenge. The course operates seasonally from April 1 through October 31.

The course is open to the public. Well-groomed fairways and greens keep the course difficult yet friendly. As a notable Robert Trent Jones design from the early years of his extensive career, Hancock Golf & Country Club represents an important example of mid-20th century American golf course architecture in the Catskill Mountains region.
