Hakusan Country Club Matsukaze Course

Hakusan Country Club Matsukaze Course is an 18-hole championship layout measuring 6,844 yards at par 72, established in October 1974. Located with views overlooking Mount Hakusan and the Sea of Japan, the course offers scenic mountain and coastal vistas that define its setting.

The course features a course rating of 72.2 and employs New Bent grass greens that were recently renovated to enhance strategic play. The layout includes multiple par-5 holes (numbers 4, 9, 10, and 18) and three par-3s (numbers 3, 7, and 12), creating varied shot-making demands across the 36-hole front and back nines.

The Matsukaze Course has served as the venue for numerous competitive tournaments throughout its history. Recommended driving distance holes are numbers 4 and 14, while par-3 holes 3, 7, 12, and 17 are designated for closest-to-pin competitions. Soft spikes are recommended for play. The course provides a practice facility and maintains multiple tee positions from back tees (6,844 yards) through ladies' tees (5,582 yards) to accommodate varying skill levels.
