Located in Komatsu, Ishikawa Prefecture, Golf Club Twin Fields is a 36-hole facility comprising two distinct nine-hole courses: the Gold Course and the Diamond Course. The Gold Course is a traditional layout with a par 72 and a maximum length of 7,136 yards from the back tees, featuring a rating of 73.3. It presents a strategic challenge through its mix of long par-fives and guarded par-fours, with the 18th hole finishing toward the clubhouse over water and a two-tiered green. The Diamond Course offers a different test, also par 72, but measuring 6,867 yards from the back tees with a 71.9 rating. This layout demands precise course management, featuring wide fairways on some holes and narrow, OB-lined corridors on others, such as the 7th and 11th holes. The terrain of the Diamond Course is particularly notable for its natural hazards and elevation changes. The 3rd hole is a par-3 that requires a carry over a large valley, while the 14th is a short par-4 that plays across a valley without significant distance. Water hazards are prominent throughout the Diamond Course, with a large pond guarding the green on the 2nd hole and another threatening the right side of the 15th fairway. The 8th hole is a difficult par-3 where the tee box is situated close to a large pond. The Gold Course, by contrast, is characterized by its flat, strategic design, with the 2nd hole featuring a pond that extends to the left-rear of the green and the 12th hole requiring a shot over a beautifully laid-out pond. The facility has a strong history of hosting professional tournaments. The Gold Course has hosted the PGA Philanthropy Tournament, the JGT Challenge, the 67th Japan Professional Golf Championship, and the Aiful Cup. It is also the regular venue for the JLPGA Step-Up Tour Twin Fields Ladies Tournament, which has been held annually since 2016. The Diamond Course has hosted several JGT Challenge events and the Desante Challenge Cup. The club is located near the Kaga Onsen resorts and is approximately a 40-minute drive from Kanazawa Station. The clubhouse features a restaurant with views of the 18th hole, a lounge, a pro shop, and a large bath with a sauna.
