Haig Point ☆ Follow

Haig Point is located on the northeast end of Daufuskie Island, one of the southernmost sea islands in South Carolina, accessible only by ferry from Hilton Head Island. The golf amenity comprises 29 holes designed by Rees Jones, featuring a 20-hole Signature Course set along Calibogue Sound with two distinct routings (the Haig and the Calibogue), plus a 9-hole Osprey course. The Signature course has appeared in Golf Digest's "America's 100 Greatest Courses" and "Best in State," and is ranked in Golf Magazine's "Top 100 in the World," with a par of 72, a course rating of 74.9 and a slope rating of 142. The course is heavily tree-lined, plays over wetlands and marsh areas with a relatively flat layout, features excellent views of Calibogue Sound, and has par 3s that provide beautiful water views. The course opened in 1986 and underwent renovations in 2007.
