Located in Hachioji, Tokyo, Hachioji Country Club is a 18-hole, par-72 facility designed by Hidehoshi Kobayashi and opened in September 1960. The course offers multiple tee options, ranging from the back tees at 6,595 yards to the gold tees at 5,099 yards, with the regular men's distance set at 6,231 yards. The layout is characterized by single-green configurations across all holes, a standardization completed in 2008 with the renovation of the fourth hole. The front nine begins with a demanding 552-yard par-5 first hole, followed by a 375-yard par-4 second. The third hole presents a 385-yard par-4, while the fourth hole is a lengthy 513-yard par-5. The nine concludes with a short 199-yard par-3 fifth, a 413-yard par-4 sixth, a 136-yard par-3 seventh, a 441-yard par-4 eighth, and a 406-yard par-4 ninth. The back nine features a 373-yard par-4 tenth and a short 200-yard par-3 eleventh. The twelfth hole is a 472-yard par-5, followed by a 320-yard par-4 thirteenth. The fourteenth hole is a 460-yard par-5, while the fifteenth is a 350-yard par-4. The closing holes include a 179-yard par-3 sixteenth, a 390-yard par-4 seventeenth, and a 431-yard par-4 eighteenth. The course has hosted significant events, including the adult men's division of the golf competition at the 68th National Sports Festival of Japan in Tokyo and the Tama region. Renovations have included the addition of a water hazard on the twelfth hole in 2007 and the conversion of the fourteenth hole into a long hole in 2008. The club operates as a shareholder-member facility with a total membership of 1,410.
