Groveport Municipal Golf Course

Formerly a private country club, Groveport Municipal Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 course owned and operated by the City of Groveport. The front nine was constructed in 1929 and designed by Frank Waugh, while the back nine was added in 1971 under the design of Hurdzan/Kidwell. This combination of early and modern design creates a blend of classic and contemporary golf architecture.

Located off U.S. 33 near downtown Columbus, the course is conveniently positioned just minutes from Canal Winchester, Lancaster, and Pickerington. The setting offers easy accessibility for the surrounding region. The course maintains standard operating hours throughout the week, opening at 8 a.m. on weekdays and 30 minutes after sunrise on weekends, remaining open until 30 minutes before sunset.

The par-72 layout reflects the course's evolution from its private country club heritage to its current public municipal status, blending classic and contemporary design philosophies across its 18 holes.
