Grenaa Golfklub is an 18-hole championship course located in the scenic Kolindsund landscape along Route 16 in Denmark. The course is notable for its variety, featuring five parkland holes, six links-style holes, five water holes, and two woodland holes, making it among Denmark's most diverse courses.
The setting offers rich natural experiences, with varied flora and fauna throughout the rough. The course is particularly known for hosting nesting mute swans, Denmark's national bird, on holes 13 and 14. The clubhouse features panoramic windows overlooking several holes and practice areas, with a café accommodating 130 guests indoors plus a partially covered terrace.
Facilities include a 12-hole pay-and-play par-3 course open to all golfers and non-golfers, a driving range, and practice areas for chipping and putting. The club's golf professional, Arild Townhill, is PGA-trained with previous experience on the European Tour. The course operates seasonally with winter and summer green rotations, ensuring year-round playability in Denmark's climate.
