Golfe des Vigiers is a 27-hole championship course located in the Dordogne region of France, designed by renowned architect Donald Steel. Set within a 150-hectare estate surrounded by vineyards, forests, and lakes, the course comprises three distinct 9-hole layouts that combine to create multiple 18-hole variations.
The three courses each offer unique characteristics: Le Lac is a wooded, shaded course featuring a spectacular finishing hole facing the château with panoramic views; La Vallée is a technical course inspired by links golf, requiring strategic shot placement and precise execution; and Les Vignes is a flatter, more relaxed course with distinctive double-plateau greens and a notable final hole bordered by a 17th-century dovecote.
The course accommodates all skill levels, from experienced golfers to beginners, within a serene natural setting that balances challenge with enjoyment. Comprehensive practice facilities include a covered range with six mats, grass training areas, approach greens, putting green, chipping green, and a six-hole par-3 competition course. Professional instruction is available through qualified PGA instructors.
