Golfclub Sterzing - Golf Club Vipiteno

Golfclub Sterzing is located in the Sterzing valley basin in northern Italy, flanked by the medieval castles Reifenstein and Sprechenstein, approximately 5 minutes from the Sterzing highway exit. The course features predominantly flat layouts with greens defended by numerous water hazards, making it ideal for practicing short game skills. The facility includes a large driving range exceeding 250 meters in length and seven practice holes, accommodating both beginners and advanced players. The course offers instruction programs including introductory golf lessons, courses for improving technique, and opportunity to obtain the course proficiency certificate (Platzreife) required for playing at courses worldwide. Junior programs are also available. The club hosts regular Friday evening tournaments and weekend competitions throughout the season, with green fees at €35 for daily play. The facility serves as a training ground for developing golf skills across all proficiency levels.
