The Golfresort Gernsheim, located in the Rhine-Main region between the Bergstraße and the Rhine valley, features two distinct 18-hole championship courses: the Parkland course and the Lufthansa course. The Parkland course plays to a par 72, with the men’s yellow tees stretching 5,385 meters and the ladies’ red tees measuring 4,559 meters. The Lufthansa course, which permits dogs on leash, is a par 70 layout with a total length of 4,794 meters from the men’s yellow tees and 4,119 meters from the ladies’ red tees. Both courses demand strategic play at various holes, presenting a challenge that accommodates beginners, advanced players, and experienced golfers alike. The resort supports practice with a driving range featuring roofed tee-offs and grass tee-offs during the summer period, alongside dedicated pitching, chipping, and putting greens, as well as a sand bunker for training. The facility serves as the home course for the Lufthansa Golf Club and is part of a larger network offering access to ten golf courses across 309 holes. Additional practice and playing options are available at nearby courses in Kiawah, Biblis-Wattenheim, and Bachgrund, each located within a 20-minute drive.
