Golf Club de Strasbourg, founded in 1935, is one of the oldest golf courses in eastern France. Located in Illkirch-Graffenstaden, just 15 minutes from Strasbourg's cathedral and airport, the club spans over 120 hectares and features 27 holes across four courses: Blanc, Rouge, Jaune, and Bleu.
The courses follow traditional design with water hazards and tree-lined fairways as primary challenges. The White course offers generous fairways for longer hitters, though the 4th hole features water and out-of-bounds hazards. The Red course, carved through forest, demands greater precision, with holes 8 and 9 presenting particular difficulty. The Yellow course, wider but technical, requires consistent attention to play well.
The facility includes excellent greens that are rolling and well-defended, a comprehensive practice area considered among the best in the Grand Est region, and training grounds. Golf Club de Strasbourg maintains strong competitive traditions and hosts a ranked junior golf school serving ages 3-18, classified 15th nationally among French golf academies. The club also operates a clubhouse, restaurant, and pro shop.
