Golf Blue Green Houlgate

Golf Blue Green Houlgate is an 18-hole course located in Normandy near Houlgate, between Cabourg and Deauville, approximately 30 minutes from Caen. Established in 1981 within a landscaped park, the course welcomes golfers of all levels.

The layout features varied hole designs suited to different skill levels. The opening three holes are set around a water feature, followed by gently rolling fairways bordered by thick hedgerows characteristic of Norman bocage. The course then progresses into the Norman countryside and culminates at the summit of a hill offering exceptional panoramic views of the region, including vistas overlooking Beuzeval castle.

The terrain transitions from relatively flat sections with water hazards to more undulating terrain, creating diverse playing conditions throughout. The course is set within Norman bocage landscape, positioned near the D-Day beaches and the Vaches Cliffs, contributing to its scenic character.

The club features a timber-framed clubhouse with restaurant and pro shop facilities. Golf carts are not permitted, preserving the walking experience. The course maintains environmental conservation practices and holds Famille Plus partner status, emphasizing its family-friendly approach.
