Golf de Briailles (also known as Golf de Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule) is located in Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule in central France, situated on the grounds of Château de Briailles. The course was created and designed by Robert and Gilles Charmat in the early 1980s. Set in a picturesque landscape partially surrounded by vineyards and overlooking the Allier plain, the course offers a scenic setting.
The facility features two courses: an 18-hole championship course with a par of 72 and a par-27 pitch and putt course measuring 587 meters. Both layouts are described as technical yet enjoyable. The courses are complemented by a practice area with 10 stations, including three covered bays, and a clubhouse with equipment rental available.
The course is maintained by a dedicated volunteer team from the golf association. Throughout the year, Golf de Briailles hosts inter-club and intra-club competitions, including the notable Kusnierek tournament, and offers golf instruction programs for various skill levels. The welcoming atmosphere and quality maintenance make it a well-regarded facility in the region.
