The Ebla Golf Club is situated 18 kilometers from downtown Damascus and 12 kilometers from Damascus International Airport, located within the Ebla Hotel and Omayad Palace complex near the Fairgrounds. As the first golf course in the Middle East to feature holes and turns with sandy areas and green dunes, the layout is characterized by four distinct areas of sand, referred to as "Punkers," which define its strategic design. The course is illuminated to allow for play during both day and night, and it includes a golf academy that operates year-round to instruct beginners. The setting is described as a green oasis centered around a number of artificial lakes, which provide a distinctive view from the club’s restaurant terraces.
