Golfclub Ortenau e.V.

Golf Club Ortenau e.V. is located in Lahr-Reichenbach in the Black Forest region of Germany, situated in the Gereuter Valley. The club was founded in 1979 and is the oldest golf club in the Ortenau area. The course features an 18-hole layout, with the first six holes inaugurated in 1982, expanding to nine holes in 1984, and reaching the full 18-hole configuration by 2004.

The course is characterized by topographically dramatic terrain typical of the Black Forest landscape, offering scenic views and challenging elevation changes. The setting emphasizes natural beauty combined with the region's characteristic hospitality. The facility includes practice areas and a clubhouse with a sun terrace described as among the finest in the Ortenau region.

The club accommodates golfers of all levels, from recreational players to competitive golfers, and offers instruction through their golf school, including beginner courses. Additional amenities include accommodations for recreational vehicle travelers with parking and electric charging facilities on the grounds.
